Consider Blackjack risk Manager. I am not sure if it is still supported.'Winner Blackjack' on the Apple App Store is a good software for playing or practicing blackjack, basic strategy and card counting.

Casino Verite is the simulator, which it sounds like you downloaded.
CVData and CVCX are the simulator packages, which are what you want. I recently purchased them and while powerful, they are not very user-friendly, IMO. I am still getting the hang of it, but it came in useful on my recent Vegas trip. Some questions I wanted to answer were 'what is the change in EV between these two bet spreads on the same game' and 'is this weak 1-4 spread still positive or just breakeven on a specific DD game' and it's great at answering those questions. I used my exact counting system (which is non-standard) with my exact bet spreads and index numbers. I haven't yet found something it can't do, but I'm sure there are more advanced counters who have a long list of feature requests :).

Yes, it ships with 3 user manuals, which I haven't read yet, lol. So perhaps my characterization as 'not user-friendly' was not fair, but in my experience, most well-written and usable software doesn't need a comprehensive manual. But, that's just my opinion. From my brief skim through the manuals they seem to have good descriptions of how to use the software for all the supported tasks.

can someone please recomend a software a can use to simulate the game i will be playing and determine expected return given all variables, such as bet spread, rules, etc. In books that i have read as well as on this site i have read of people using such software. thank you for any advice.

For the past several years, history, well sentimentality, has been the only reason to keep Tucows Downloads around. We talked about shutting the site down before. Most seriously in 2016 when instead, we decided to go ad-free, keeping the site up as a public service.

Today is different. Tucows Downloads is old. Old sites are a maintenance challenge and therefore a risk. Maintaining the Tucows Downloads site pulls people away from the work that moves our businesses forward.

Tucows Downloads has had an incredible run. Retiring it is the right move but that doesn’t alter the fact that it will always hold a special place in hearts and our story. We’re thankful to the thousands of software developers who used Tucows Downloads to get their software in front of millions of people, driving billions of downloads over more than 25 years.
